Vermeer Great Plains, in Oklahoma City, OK. has an immediate opening for a Trenchless Specialist. We are looking for a person excited about an opportunity and willing to make a difference.

 

Position Title:  Trenchless Specialist        

Department:  Sales

Reports to:  Sales Manager

 

PURPOSE:

 

Support and assist both the VGP Sales Department and the Customer with expertise in every aspect of the HDD process in order to enhance the overall customer experience with Vermeer Great Plains. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Become an expert in the safe operation of and function of all HDD Equipment and Accessories sold by the Company.
  • Responsible for all aspects of setup and execution of pre-sale demonstrations of HDD equipment and accessories sold by the company.
  • Responsible for post-sale startups and operation and safety training for operators of new and used HDD equipment and accessories sold by the company.
  • Become the customer’s primary contact for questions regarding the safe operation and proper application of HDD equipment and accessories sold by the company.
  • Provide estimates to sales department of anticipated demonstration costs prior to demonstration.
  • Maintain and inventory used demonstration tooling.

  

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Call on customers in the field and log calls in CRM.
  • Attend any company sales training, meetings, and trade shows as required.
  • Assist the service department by performing post-repair functional evaluations on equipment as required

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Choice of standing, leaning, or sitting while working.
  • Computer experience.
  • The environment is mainly outside and will involve overnight travel as required.
